Citizen's Advice Voice Research
Citizen's Advice are exploring how voice technology could help deliver online advice in the future. This means using voice assistants like Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri.
We think doing this could provide a more accessible experience for those using our online advice. But there could also be some downsides. This work is at an early exploratory stage. As a starting point we want to consult people that have experience with voice technologies to collect your views and experiences.
There are a few ways you can help. * Please complete this questionnaire to share your views and experiences.
* There will be a workshop in our London offices (200 Aldersgate, EC1A 4HD) on 22nd October 1.30pm - 4.00pm. You will help us build an understanding of what kind of users could benefit from a voice app. There will be room for about six participants. We will cover travel expenses and we are offering a £20 gift voucher for your time. Please let us know if you would like to attend through the above questionnaire or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, please include any accessibility requirements.
* You can also volunteer to help us test at a future date through the above questionnaire. We will try and provide some remote testing opportunities.
If you have questions about any of this, including about the workshop, please contact us.
