Access Islington
This is a project to support local Deaf and disabled people to improve access to goods and services.
Access means getting in to places and being treated as well as anybody else.
The aims of Access Islington are to:

- provide free information and training on their rights under Part 3 of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995
- work with Deaf and disabled people to campaign on access issues via Community Access Monitors (CAMs)
People can contact Access Islington by:
- telephoning our hotline

- coming to a BSL interpreted drop-in for the Deaf community (see times below)
Community Access Monitors (CAMS)
CAMs are Deaf and disabled people who campaign to improve access to goods and services in the borough.
They do this by investigating access in the Borough and campaigning on access problems reported by other disabled people.
For more information, or if you would like to get involved, please contact Access Islington.
