Information, Advice and Advocacy Service
This service provides information and advice to disabled people who live or work in Islington.
Islington Disability Network
This is a project that brings disabled people together to share information and support, raise disability issues at a strategic level in the borough and campaign for better services and opportunities.
Disability Reference Group
The Disability Reference Group is a group which monitors and reviews the council's progress on their Disability Equality Scheme (DES) and Action Plan.
Homes for Islington (HFI) Disability Panel
The Homes for Islington (HFI) Disability Panel is a group that provides provide HFI with a user perspective on performance and is made up of 12 disabled tenants from across the impairment groups.
Information Exchange with Deaf Residents
BSL interpreted Drop In sessions are held on the first Wednesday of every month for local Deaf people.
Individual Budget Advocacy and Support Service
Disability Action in Islington run an independent Individual Budgets Advocacy & Support Service called IBASS. We provide local people taking up Individual Budgets with independent advice and support.
Debt Advice
Disability Action in Islington hosts a debt advice service specifically for D/deaf and disabled people or parents/carers of disabled children living in Islington. This service is provided by Camden Citizens Advice Bureau.
