Visiting Us
During office hours, the external door will be open. To call attention, enter and press the lit bell button located on the right hand side of the internal door, approximately 1.3 metres from the ground. You will feel the raised texture of a bell symbol.
The DAII offices have ground floor level access.
The DAII offices have wheelchair accessible toilets.
We have a portable induction loop system available for hearing aid users.
We have a meeting room with a fixed induction loop system for hearing aid users.
A range of seating and lighting is also available.
By tube
Northern Line: take the Northern Line to Angel station. Come out of the station entrance and turn right onto Upper Street. Continue along Upper Street, you will pass Islington Green on your right, until you reach the Slug and Lettuce Pub. Cross over the road. You will see the Screen On The Green cinema in front of you. Turn right and walk along to the next bus stop. Disability Action in Islington is located directly behind the bus stop.
Victoria Line: Take the Victoria Line to Highbury and Islington station. Come out of the station entrance and turn right along Upper Street. Continue along Upper Street, you will pass the town hall on your left. Continue along Upper Street and you will come to Theberton Street on your right. Cross over and walk along Upper Street to the next bus stop. Disability Action in Islington is directly behind the bus stop.
By bus
The following buses run along Upper Street and stop close to the DAII offices: numbers 43,4,19 and 30.
