Disability Equality Training
Our popular and continuously updated courses give participants an opportunity to understand the issues surrounding disability and feel comfortable and confident in their interactions with disabled people.
Each course is developed in conjunction with the client to ensure the training fulfils their exact requirements and is suited to the environment in which the client operates: for example, transport, education, marketing, etc. and the job roles of participants.
We create a safe training environment in which participants can explore their attitudes towards disability. This helps to create a stimulating and thought provoking day which is augmented by film clips, quizzes, exercises and case studies.
Participants will come away from the course with the ability to think critically about disability issues that arise in their work role. They will also be in a position to implement sensible and sustainable approaches to ensuring increased accessibility and inclusion to their organisation and service.
