Job vacancies at DAII

We are looking for two exceptional candidates to set up and run our groundbreaking Making Our Rights a Reality project. We wish to appoint a:

Project Manager: Salary £30,000 p.a. (f/t)
and
Group Development Worker: Salary £26,500 pro rata p.a. (21 hrs p.wk)

This 3 year project aims to increase local disabled people's access to services and opportunities by providing a range of innovative services that will utilise disability discrimination legislation.

As Project Manager you will have a track record in running successful projects, with experience in supervising staff. You will be outcome focused, both a leader and team player, and thrive in a hard working, professional environment.  You will have an in-depth understanding of disability equality and access issues, including relevant legislation and have experience providing advice or representation services.

As Group Development Worker you will be an experienced group facilitator able to engage and involve diverse 'hard to reach' groups in an accessible and inclusive way. You will have strong organisational skills, be able to work as part of a team and have a thorough understanding of disability and equality issues.
